  Defcon 3, also called “Defcon Three” or “Round House” is basically a “Yellow Alert” level or an increase in alertness and readiness. With Defcon 3 (Three) level the air force is in a state of readiness so that they can deploy and mobilize within 15 minutes time.

  The meaning behind Defcon 3 (Three) level is similar to that of a yellow “Caution” sign. We are prepared, cautious and in a state of military readiness.
