  Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari said the U-S and its allies started funding and supporting the ISIL to stop countries including Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon from uniting. He also said the creation of ISIL and similar terrorist groups by the West was aimed at curbing the Islamic Awakening and the uprising of people in the region.
