  Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, the Foreign Minister of Turkey, told the Daily Sabah last week Canadian intelligence helped three British girls join ISIS.

  The story went unreported by the corporate media in Canada and the United States. It was covered by the alternative media and several mainstream newspapers in Britain.

  “We were informed by Britain about three girls who left to join ISIS a few days after they departed for Turkey. It turned out someone helped them and [that person] was captured. This person was working for the intelligence service of a country participating in the coalition against ISIS. This country is not the United States or a member of the European Union,” Çavuşoğlu told Turkey’s A Haber channel.

  It was later revealed the suspect is Mohammad Al Rashed, aka Dr. Mehmet Resit. He was filmed helping teenagers Shamima Begum, Amira Abase and Kadiza Sultana travel to Syria.

  Rashed told Turkish police he was working for the Canadian government in exchange for citizenship. The story of the “jihadi brides” has dominated headlines since February. It functions as a centerpiece in the Islamic radicalization of children narrative pushed by government and the corporate media as a relentless propaganda campaign continues ahead of a full-scale war against ISIS.

  According to corporate media reports, the girls have joined the al-Khansa brigade, the female religious police in Raqqa, Syria. It is claimed the brigade enforces sharia law and is led by Aqsa Mahmood, a 20-year old woman from Glasgow, Scotland. Mahmood has denied involvement recruiting the three British teenagers.
