China Claims Successful Monkey Head Transplantation, Operation on Human Scheduled for 2017

  Chinese scientists claim they’ve carried out the first successful head transplant on a monkey. Previously, the only other successful transplant of this kind was performed on a mouse. Following the operation on the monkey, the first human-head transplant is now being scheduled for the end of next year.
