The UN has said in a report that Israeli weapons are fueling the violence in South Sudan. The report, issued by a panel of experts appointed by the UN Security Council, is based on field photographs showing arms manufactured by the Israel Weapon Industries. South Sudan has been in the midst of a civil war in the past 18 months. The U-N has reported widespread human rights violations including indiscriminate killings and rape during the conflict in the country. The report does not specify how the Israeli-made weapons have made their way to South Sudan. Officials from the African state have reportedly visited recent weapons shows in Israel.
