  Israeli fighter jets have carried out two airstrikes against Damascus International Airport and a smaller airport in the town of Dimas in Syria. Meanwhile, Tel Aviv has conducted several airstrikes inside Syria’s territory since the beginning of the turmoil in 2011. In one of the attacks, Israeli aircraft targeted three areas, including the Dimas airport, in May 2013.
