  A political commentator believes that a new resolution by the US House of Representatives is opening a military conflict against Russia.

  Don DeBar on Sunday criticized Resolution 758 that condemned Russia and authorized “military assistance to Ukraine in the fight against the people of the east part of the country.”
  –
  The anti-war activist made the remarks after the House of Representatives passed the resolution that strongly condemned Russia’s “continuing political, economic, and military aggression” against Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova and the “continuing violation of their sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.”
  –
  “They accuse Russia of engaging in a war in Ukraine without any proof,” DeBar told Press TV. “The evidence has not been provided yet.  And yet they are providing material means and moving towards an actual war in Ukraine on the side of the government that came into power by coup” in February, he added.

  Washington accuses Moscow of arming and supporting pro-Russian forces fighting in the predominantly Russian-speaking areas in eastern Ukraine. Moscow, however, denies the accusations and described them as “groundless.”

  Explaining the situation in Kiev, the analyst noted that suppose Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov “went to the streets of Mexico City and declared along with the protesters there that the government should be removed and a new government put in place and then Russia started to arm revolutionaries in Mexico.”

  “So it would actually be assistance to a popular uprising, but the United States will go to a war over that and that is exactly what the United States is doing to Russia at this moment,” DeBar said.
