  US president Barack Obama is a warmonger and “serial liar” whose actions always contradict his statements regarding his foreign policy agenda, an American political commentator says.

  Obama is preparing a series of speeches to defend his foreign policy against critics and Republicans who accuse him of foreign policy weakness in dealing with Russia, China, the Middle East and other geo-political challenges.

  Starting from Wednesday, the president will use a speech at the US Military Academy at West Point, New York to explain his approach to foreign policy in his final years in office, one that he will say is reliant on multilateral diplomacy instead of military interventions.

  “He’s a serial liar, nothing he says can be believed,” said Stephen Lendman, an author and radio show host in Chicago. “He repeatedly says one thing and he does something entirely different.”

  Despite speaking against military interventions, Obama is “waging one direct proxy war after another, Lendman told Press TV on Sunday. “He’s got other wars planned. I’m convinced he wants direct US [military] intervention in Syria.”

  “Ignore what he says, watch what he does. He’s a warrior president. He chooses war, not peace. He opposes peace and his record proves it.”

  Confronting critics of his foreign policy, Obama will soon outline a strategy for his final years in office that supposedly aims to avoid overreach. The president will make the case for that seemingly more limited approach during a commencement address Wednesday at the US Military Academy at West Point, New York.
