  The law enforcement community in Massachusetts is in mourning after several local officers died suddenly this past week. The Mass. State Police dedicated a Facebook post Wednesday to the three fallen officers “all from the South Shore communities” who “passed away suddenly within the last seven days.”

  The post particularly highlighted the death of 25-year-old Officer John F. Santos of the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department who died “after succumbing to a brain aneurysm.”
