    The North Sinai Health Directorate announced that Al-Areesh General Hospital is ready to receive the incoming cases Gaza which is at the center of renewed hostilities with Israel, Al Watan Reports.

    According to Tariq Shawka, head of the North Sinai Health Directorate, the alert level has been raised in Al-Arish Public Hospitals and Bir Al-Anad Central Hospitals, as the Eid Al-Fitr holiday has been suspended for the medical and nursing staff.

    Shouka added that North Sinai hospitals are well-equipped to treat the wounded, and that the medical staff there is working around the clock in Al-Arish General. He also indicated that all departments are open and ready to receive and treat cases.

    Another official, Musaad Zayed, head of the internal medicine department at Sheikh Zuweid Central Hospital, said that the hospital will be open and ready to receive and treat cases.

    The ambulance department in North Sinai is also ready to deal with cases coming from Gaza, as vehicles have stationed in the cities of Rafah, Sheikh Zuweid, Bir al-Abed and Al-Arish to transport severe cases to other governorates for treatment and the establishment of a broader emergency healthcare response network.
