  The Zionist regime of Israel launched an airstrike Monday on a position in Gaza, claiming that the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement fired a rocket on the occupied territories.

  Iran Press/ Middle East: According to Palestinian security sources, the Israeli raid caused only material damage in Rafah, southern Gaza. The Israeli army, without reporting casualties, said the rocket targeted southern Israel, where sirens sounded to warn of the fire. Gaza has been under an Israeli siege since June 2007, which has caused a decline in living standards. Israel has also launched three major wars against the enclave since 2008, killing thousands of Gazans each time and shattering the impoverished territory’s already poor infrastructure.
