Satellite Pics Show More Than 500 Chinese Military Vehicles in Soccer Stadium Near Hong Kong Border

- I do not believe the deployment of Chinese troops into HK is near. China will let the protesters run wild for at least a few more weeks. It is to China’s advantage to show extreme restraint and patience to win the propaganda war. It is to China’s advantage to let Hong Kong collapse: stock market, property market, economy …. It is to demonstrate to the populace, not just in HK, but also in mainland China the destructive consequences of these protests. The populace will then accept the inevitable necessity of military intervention to restore peace and order.
– - The protesters appear to have LOST the propaganda war when they assaulted 2 civilians whom they thought were spies, undercover police officers. The meme: “I support HK police, you can proceed to beat me!” is spreading like wildfire. Mainland Chinese are rallying behind the GlobalTimes reporter who made the remarks and were beaten up by these “peaceful” protesters. They regard his fearlessness as heroic. I agree. He could have been beaten to death for the remarks. See videos, tweets below.

–
It is believed to be China’s response to months of unrest which has recently seen dozens of protesters shut down all flights at Hong Kong International Airport, one of the worlds’ busiest.
