  The Guardian has accused the Russian news agency Sputnik posting a fake photo of two young men, who appear to be of Middle Eastern descent, smiling while walking away from the burning Notre Dame Cathedral. The photo turned out to be real and the men came forward with metadata of the photos to prove it. So now the Guardian is issuing an apology.
