Did you see it? A giant meteor streaked through the sky over the entire D.C. region, and many people were able to capture it on video (several embedded below).

Reports came in all over social media of the meteor, which was reported at around 11 p.m. Tuesday night. The meteor reportedly was seen over the skies of D.C. and 12 states. It flew North to South and fizzled out over the Atlantic Ocean near Bethany Beach, Delaware. Here’s how people reacted on Twitter to the spectacular sight:
