The Debate: Israel Gaza Escalation

    Tensions have again flared up in the gaza strip. The escalation came following a botched Israeli assassination operation in the city of khan yunis on Sunday. 7 palestinians and an Israeli lieutenant colonel were killed in the ensuing clashes. Israeli fighter jets, on Monday, waged airstrikes all over gaza while Palestinian fired dozens of rockets into Israel in retaliation for Tel Aviv’s covert assassination operation Sunday night. So far, 3 palestinians have lost their lives in Israeli air raids. One Israeli was also killed in Palestinian rocket attacks.
