President Mahmoud Abbas Vows to Oppose Any Peace Plan by Trump to be Unveiled by End of the Year

    The Palestinian president has once again vowed to oppose any peace plan by his US counterpart. Mahmoud Abbas said Palestinians are facing the most dangerous stage in their history after Donald Trump recognized Jerusalem al-Quds as Israel’s capital. The Palestinian president added that Trump’s actions amount to imposing a deal unilaterally. The remarks come as the Trump administration is set to unveil its so-called deal of the century between Palestine and Israel by the end of the year. Palestinian officials have frequently said they will thwart the US plan.
