Russia Has Proof US Was Behind Drone Attack on Syria Base

  Russia says a US spy plane orchestrated a militant drone attack on a Russian airbase in Syria back in January this year. Fomin said the attack was successfully repelled. He added that Russia downed seven of the drones and took control of six others through electronic warfare systems. The Russian minister said the main components of the planes were produced in the West. He also voiced concern that terrorists have been armed with such modern weapons. The Kremlin has also said it’s alarmed that the US plane coordinated the alleged raid. It noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin may raise the issue with his US counterpart Donald Trump in their meeting next month in France.
