Iran’s IRGC Holds Military Maneuvers in Persian Gulf

  Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps says it has successfully conducted naval drills in the Persian Gulf waters. IRGC Spokesman, Brigadier General Ramezan Sharif said the exercises were aimed at maintaining and enhancing troops’ combat readiness in the face of possible enemy threats. The general added that the drills were on the IRGC’s annual calendar. He further emphasized the need to preserve the security of the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz.
