Iran: No Talks Over Missile Program with EU

  Iran has once again stressed it will NOT negotiate over its missile program and regional issues with the signatories of the 20-15 nuclear deal as the agreement was only about Tehran’s nuclear activities. Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said the European signatories, in particular the French government, may seek negotiations on Iran’s missile program and other issues. Araqchi said such talks will not take place as long as Tehran is not willing to discuss such matters. Araqchi stressed that Iran’s missile program is a red line for the country’s negotiating team. France, Germany and the UK are trying to keep the deal alive. Iran says it will restart its nuclear program unless its demands are met.
