EU & UK Reject U.S. Policy on Iran Nuclear Deal

  The European Union and the United Kingdom have rejected Washington’s policy on the Iran nuclear deal, in response to threats made by the US secretary of state. EU foreign policy chief, Federica Mogherini, emphasized that there was no alternative to the multinational agreement. The U-K foreign minister also defended the deal, saying London will take every possible measure to shield British companies dealing with Iran from being hit by U-S sanctions. Boris Johnson noted that the jumbo treaty sought by U-S President Donald Trump will be very difficult to achieve. The Israeli Prime minister, however, hailed Washington’s hard-line stance on Iran as the right approach.
