U.S. Military: North Korea Fires Three ‘Short-Range’ Ballistic Missiles

    The US army says North Korea has fired several short-range ballistic missiles into the sea off its east coast. US military said the launches did not pose a threat to the American territory of Guam or North America. South Korean military officials also said the projectiles flew 250 kilometers before landing in the sea. North Korea is yet to confirm the launches which would be the first by Pyongyang since it test-fired its second intercontinental ballistic missile on July the twenty-eighth. Tensions have ever since dramatically intensified between the US and the North with both sides warning about military strikes.
