This is especially true if they were told that there were an outside threat from beyond (i.e., an extraterrestrial invasion), whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence.   • Will there be a formal ‘Alien’ announcement? I doubt so. My understanding is that the unveiling will come in the form of a ‘Alien Invasion’ very likely in the midst of a a nuclear WW3.     The hacker collective Anonymous set conspiracy theorists abuzz this week after it claimed NASA is on the verge of announcing the discovery of alien life. In a video, shared to an unofficial YouTube channel said to be affiliated with Anonymous, a masked presenter cites snippets of a recent talk by NASA Associate Administrator Thomas Zurbuchen to support their prediction.

    But, NASA has now confirmed that no such announcement is on the way. Zurbuchen took to Twitter today to assure that the reports were false, and says we still do not know if we are alone in the universe.
