Syria FM: Israel Helping Terrorists in Golan Heights

  The Syrian foreign minister says Israel is militarily intervening to help in every way the terrorist organizations operating in the occupied Golan Heights. Muallem made the remarks at his United Nations General Assembly speech. He called on the international community to join hands in order to compel Tel Aviv to implement the UN resolutions. The Syrian top diplomat reaffirmed Damascus stance toward Israel and said its aggressive policies are threatening both Syria and the whole region. Anti-Syria terrorists have in numerous cases been treated in Israeli hospitals built in the occupied Golan Heights. Israel occupied the region in 1967 and has ever since defied international calls to return the land to Syria.
