Iran Massive Military Drills Underway in Southeast

The second day of military drills by Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps is underway in the southeast of the country. IRGC Ground Force has conducted security-offensive drills near the border with Pakistan. The second day of the massive wargames started in Mirjaveh region in Sistan and Balouchestan province in the presence of IRGC Ground Force Commander Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour. The General says such offensive-destruction operations were carried out for the first time during the drills. The security exercises will continue until Thursday. The IRGC staged major ballistic missile exercises Last month. The drills were aimed at testing advanced missile defense systems as well as showcasing the power of IRGC in defending the country’s territorial integrity against possible threats.
