  GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) have ordered a recall of their 4 in 1 vaccine called Flulaval Quadrivalent Thimerosal “due to effectiveness issues”.
  –
  GSK said “the vaccine might cause more harm than good because it is not good enough to protect someone from the current flu strains present in the US.”
  –
  Flulaval “was designed” to protect against Type A and B and 2 other flu strains which makes it a quadrivalent vaccine – the new standard in inoculations.
  –
  GSK admitted in a statement “[we] cannot rule out prospective suboptional protection” for those who received Flulaval in early January of this year or later.
  –
  This information was disseminated in a letter to GSK clients such as wholesale distributors, pharmacies, government agencies and physicians in the US.
  –
  Because Flulaval is ineffective, 1.7 million doses are being recalled while GSK conducts testing on the product to prove efficiency.

  Anna Padula, spokesperson for GSK claims that this recall is in no way “a result of any identified safety concern[s].” The ingredients of Fluval include:

  • “inactivated” influenza virus 
  • Formaldehyde 
  • Sodium Deoxycholate 
  • Saline solution 
  • Thimerosal 
  • Ovalbumin 
  • Polysorbate

  GSK markets Flulaval as “a vaccine indicated for active immunization disease”; however does not indicate that the vaccine is effectual.

  According to the insert for Flulaval, “there have been no controlled trials adequately demonstrating a decrease in influenza disease after vaccination with” this product.

  Another shocking confession about Flulaval by GSK is that the vaccine has “not been evaluated for carcinogenic or mutagenic potential, [and] impairment of fertility” along with the fact that “safety and effectiveness of Flulaval in pediatric patients [has] not been established” which includes:
