The leader of Lebanon’s resistance movement Hezbollah says Israel is closely collaborating with the Nusra Front, the official offshoot of al-Qaeda in Syria.
Sayyed Hassan Narallah also spoke about Israel’s recent deadly attack on a group of Hezbollah fighters and an Iranian commander in Syria’s Golan Heights. He touched on Hezbollah’s recent retaliatory attack against Israeli forces which left two soldiers dead and several others wounded. He said Hezbollah responded to the Israeli strike in kind at a time when the Israeli military was on its highest alert. Further in his speech, the Hezbollah leader said the movement doesn’t recognize the rules of war or engagement anymore and it sees it a religious, humanitarian and legal right to defend itself against Israel.
