British MP: London Turned Blind Eye to CIA’s Torture Program!

  Former shadow home secretary David Davis said Britain may not have engaged in torture itself but operated QUOTE-a secret policy of complicity in torture. The Conservative M-P said Britain even participated in the C-I-A’s rendition program. Davis described the C-I-A’s interrogation methods as barbaric and Britain’s involvement as shameful. He further blasted London for seeking to have its part in the agency’s torture removed from the recent U-S Senate report. His comments undermine those of British Prime Minister David Cameron in reaction to the Senate report. Cameron had said torture is wrong and goes against what he called Britain’s moral authority.
