Israeli police say men of all ages will be allowed to attend the Friday Prayers in the mosque for the first time in months. But they say more forces have been deployed in and around the compound. Israeli forces have prevented people under 50 from entering the holy site over the past months. The easing of restrictions comes as a step to de-escalate the situation in Quds. The city has recently been the scene of deadly clashes between Palestinians and Israeli forces. Tensions rose after Israeli settlers were given the green light to enter the Islamic holy site, and then more settlement expansion was announced in Quds.
