- Daniel 7:23 (New King James Version)
23 “Thus he said:
‘The fourth beast shall be
A fourth kingdom on earth,
Which shall be different from all other kingdoms,
And shall devour the whole earth,
Trample it and break it in pieces.

- US using ISIL threat as excuse for intervention in region: Journalist!
by http://www.presstv.com/
Press TV has conducted an interview with Hafsa Kara-Mustapha, a journalist and analyst from London about a US-led conference in Paris by the Western countries and their Arab allies on the threat posed by ISIL Takfiri militants.
–
The following is an approximate transcript of the interview.
Press TV: A quote by a US solider in Baghdad during the second Iraq war, he said, “American forces will not have a combat mission. We will not get dragged into another ground war in Iraq.” And of course we found out what happened.
–
Do you think the US will not get engaged militarily on the ground when it comes to what they’re trying to pursue regarding this Daesh/ISIL terrorists?
–
Kara-Mustapha: I think we have to accept one thing, whatever the US says we need to realize that what will happen is probably the contrary.
–
What we’re seeing at the moment is a sort of PR campaign to try and get countries on board to accept military operation in the Middle East. The gentleman (Press TV guest Richard Weitz, Senior Fellow of the Hudson Institute) has mentioned it’s going to be seen as a crusade against Muslims – that’s not the concern.
–
ISIS’s primary targets have been Muslims and they are opposed by the overwhelming majority of Muslims in the region who have been their primary targets. Again it has to be said and reiterated that out of the thousands that have been slaughtered by ISIS we’ve only seen three Westerners killed.
–
So really ISIS essentially targets Muslims and Muslims do want to be rid of this organization from Muslims land.
–
Now, what the US is doing is trying to increase the threat to appear as if this group is a threat to Western interests while it’s obviously a threat to the region and it’s trying to trigger a PR campaign to actually get countries on board in order to support yet another military operation.
–
And we know the reason why there is such hesitation is because the track record of the US in the region is abysmal – from Afghanistan to Iraq to Libya. Every single time the US has tried and meddled in Middle Eastern affairs we have seen the result, more chaos more murder an absolute devastation.
–
Press TV: Isn’t it strange… and this has been asked a number of times and I have to direct it to you here… that for the past year in Iraq had one of its deadliest years since 2008 – we’re talking about 7,000 to 8,000 perhaps civilians to have been killed along with 1,000 security forces and this is all a result mainly – 99 percent of them – a result of bombings that happened on a daily basis for a whole year.
–
Why didn’t the US move in? Why didn’t it show the type of pro-action that it’s showing now, then?
–
Kara-Mustapha: I think it’s very simple really because there was no desire to put an end to the bloodshed to actually support in any way a restoration of peace and stability to the region.
–
As I said, ISIS has been targeting local population of Muslims and obviously Christian minorities as we’ve seen for the best part of six months. And no one has actually reacted to that.
–
It is only when we’ve seen the beheading of the first American journalist and now the British aid worker that all of a sudden the Western public opinion is being brought on board in order to support this military operation.
–
But there was absolutely no desire to stop ISIS as long as they were wreaking havoc across both Iraq and in their original form in Syria.
