April 15: Russian Fighter Buzzes U.S. Warship in Black Sea!

• The word is: this is a demonstration of Russia’s superior radar jamming ability. It is basically a message to the Pentagon: “Go home and stop screwing around in our backyard!”.

• The whole incident showed that all the high-tech air defence system of the USS Donald Cook was rendered useless and the Russian SU-24 could make 12 passes over 90 minutes at very low-level unmolested. The SU-24 (Fencer) is largely an obsolete fighter jet (though still in service), introduced in 1974.

• The message is clear: US+NATO do have any air superiority vs Russia. Whatever massive naval armada that is introduced in the Black Sea will end up as multi-story ‘carpark/cemetry’ at the bottom of the sea within a few hours of conflict initiation. America’s naval armada make a very impressive show but will count for nothing with the new generation of ASBMs (Anti-Ship Ballistic Missile) employed by Russia and China!
