  Troops airlifted out of Iraq to face Assad’s forces
  Following similar reports by former FBI translator Sibel Edmonds, Israeli intelligence sources confirm that US Special Forces are massing in Jordan on the Syrian border having been transferred from Iraq.

  On Sunday Edmonds reported that hundreds of foreign troops were witnessed near the Jordanian border village of Al-Mafraq, having moved back and forth between King Hussein Air Base of al-Mafraq and villages adjacent to the Syrian border.

  After interviewing an employee in the London-based office of Royal Jordanian Airlines, Nizar Nayouf also reported that, “At least one US aircraft carrying military personnel landed in the Prince Hassan Air base located about 100 km to the east of the city of Al-Mafraq.”

  According to Edmonds, the mainstream media has been eager to keep the movement of the troops under wraps, with one journalist from a major publication being told by his editor that there would be no coverage of the story.

  The Israeli intelligence outlet DebkaFile has now backed these reports, stating that, “American special forces troops have been diverted to positions in Jordan opposite a Syrian tank concentration building up across the kingdom’s northern border.” US troops were airlifted out of the Ain al-Assad air base in Iraq to take up positions in Jordan from Thursday onwards, according to the report.

  US-NATO Troops Reportedly Gathering on Jordan-Syria Border

  Yesterday Boiling Frogs Post published a report citing several anonymous sources in Jordan who witnessed foreign military forces first-hand near northern Jordanian city of al-Mafraq, which is adjacent to the border between Syria and Jordan.

  As of 6:00 PM EST yesterday, the Department of Defense Press Office has yet to comment on the reports, which is far from surprising. Boiling Frogs Post is also reporting that an anonymous journalist with an unnamed establishment media publication was informed by his editors that no follow-up on the report or coverage of the issue would be permitted.

  An anonymous Jordanian military officer said that hundreds of non-Arabic speaking troops were gathering over the past two days and witnessed moving about in military vehicles between the King Hussein Air Base in al-Mafraq (roughly 10 kilometers from the Jordan-Syria border), the Jordanian villages near the Syrian border such as Albaej (5 km from the border), the vicinity of the dam of Sarhan, the villages of Zubaydiah and al-Nahdah which is adjacent to the Syrian border.

  Another report relayed by Boiling Frogs Post’s source said alleges that an additional US-NATO command center had been erected in al-Houshah, which is a village near al-Mafraq. This information was backed up by an anonymous “Iraqi journalist source in London” who said, “Some of the US forces that left the Ain al-Assad Air base in Iraq last Thursday, did not come back to the USA or its base in Germany, but were transferred to Jordan during the evening hours.”
