Russia: ISIS-ISIL Leaders Still in Contact With Turkey

    Russia has warned that leaders of the Daesh terrorist group remain in close contact with the Turkish government. Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov says Moscow has intelligence that shows ISIL leaders and Ankara are currently working out a new approach to the war in Syria. Lavrov noted that’s because Russian bombers have cut off their traditional smuggling routes. The top Russian diplomat said Ankara is seeking ISIL-free zones in Syria to help the terrorists. Moscow has repeatedly accused Turkey of working with ISIL, but Ankara has denied the claims.
