US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel warned Thursday that the Islamic State is more than a traditional “terrorist group” and better armed, trained and funded than any recent threat.

In fact, ISIS was trained by the best – the United States military. Hagel, as Secretary of Defense, should certainly be privy to this. Its military hardware, as well, is courtesy of the Pentagon.

“They marry ideology and a sophistication of strategic and tactical military prowess. They are tremendously well funded. This is beyond anything we have seen,” Hagel told reporters.

ISIS is funded by America’s supposed “allies” – Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.
