Ron Paul is the only presidential candidate that understands our flawed monetary system. Nothing of significance will change until the Federal Reserve is abolished and the US Treasury Department is allowed to issue interest free treasury notes instead of the interest bearing Federal Reserve notes.
The main benefits are (1) income tax on our citizens wages will no longer be necessary resulting in a 25-35% increase in our standard of living, (2) there will be almost zero wars because the elite bankers, Israeli lobbyist and the military complex companies will not be able to hide the corresponding costs.
Without debt financing through borrowing from the Federal Reserve or the international bankers we would need to finance the wars through transparent increases in taxes. This change alone would almost eliminate all wars because the public would be outraged seeing their taxes increase substantially compared to the creeping inflation cause by our current monetary system.
