Not only has the US Mint run out of US Silver Eagles, but the silver shelves at major nationwide distributors are close to bare. Returning guest Andy Schectman, CEO of Miles Franklin Precious Metals, alerts us that physical silver demand in the past two weeks far surpasses 2008-2011, beyond anything he’s seen in his 30 year career. Schectman reports that with premiums spiking, the physical market is bifurcating from the paper spot price, and in most of the popular forms there is no physical silver available.
