Nov.27 — French President Emmanuel Macron’s plan to take control of Europe is entering its next phase. After failing to coax German Chancellor Angela Merkel into action, this time he’s going for it alone. But, while Macron’s attempts to shake up the EU may have angered his partners, he’s also created new unexpected alliances. Bloomberg’s Ian Wishart reports on “Bloomberg Markets: European Open.”
