    HBO late-night comedian Bill Maher admitted the legacy media engaged in “a conspiracy to get rid of” former President Donald Trump ahead of the 2020 election by burying the explosive Hunter Biden laptop story.

    On his show “Real Time” on Friday, Maher pointed to damning remarks made by philosopher Sam Harris, who said last week he wouldn’t have cared if Hunter had “corpses of children in his basement” if it meant defeating Trump.

    “[M]y friend Sam Harris was on a podcast…they were talking about Hunter Biden’s laptop, which was a story and now all the mainstream press has finally admitted it was a real story, it was a real laptop — now look, let’s not pussyfoot around this, he was selling the influence of his father, Joe Biden. I mean, most political sons do,” Maher said.
