  Going back to 2012, we have noted some strange things in relations to “zombies” and reanimated corpses/. No, we aren’t predicting the Zombie Apocalypse, but the federal government, the CDC and Amazon Web Services, have all integrated a possible Zombie pandemic into their services.

  Considering the global community has practically shut down services because of an overblown COVID pandemic, where the average death rate does not justify the draconian actions being taken, as well as the ongoing controversy regarding a significant number of deaths from the vaccines meant to counter COVID,  the topic of a Zombie pandemic at this moment in time, was just too creepy for me to pass up.

  FEDS AND THE CDC
  In 2012 a report from Fox News detailed a bit of federal government “fun” as it is described by actively preparing the military and the police for a potential “Zombie Apocalypse.”

  The keynote speaker beforehand will be a retired top spook — former CIA Director Michael Hayden.

  “No doubt when a zombie apocalypse occurs, it’s going to be a federal incident, so we’re making it happen,” Barker said. Since word got out about the exercise, they’ve had calls from “every whack job in the world” about whether the U.S. government is really preparing for a zombie event.

  Called “Zombie Apocalypse,” the exercise follows the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s campaign launched last year that urged Americans to get ready for a zombie apocalypse, as part of a catchy, public health message about the importance of emergency preparedness.

  The Homeland Security Department jumped on board last month, telling citizens if they’re prepared for a zombie attack, they’ll be ready for real-life disasters like a hurricane, pandemic, earthquake or terrorist attack. A few suggestions were similar to a few of the 33 rules for dealing with zombies popularized in the 2009 movie “Zombieland,” which included “always carry a change of underwear” and “when in doubt, know your way out.”

  AMAZON WEB SERVICES  ZOMBIE CLAUSE
  In 2016, it was reported that Amazon Web Services had inserted a clause into their Terms Of Service (TOS), regarding the possible reanimation of humans caused by a “widespread viral infection transmitted via bites or contact with bodily fluids,”

  Now, nearly six years later, that clause is still in their updated TOS.
  Section 42 covers the terms for their Amazon Lumberyard Engine.
  Section 42.10 is the weird part.

  Once again, we see entertainment, or a sense of humor credited with the insertion of the following:

  42.10. Acceptable Use; Safety-Critical Systems. Your use of the Lumberyard Materials must comply with the AWS Acceptable Use Policy. The Lumberyard Materials are not intended for use with life-critical or safety-critical systems, such as use in operation of medical equipment, automated transportation systems, autonomous vehicles, aircraft or air traffic control, nuclear facilities, manned spacecraft, or military use in connection with live combat. However, this restriction will not apply in the event of the occurrence (certified by the United States Centers for Disease Control or successor body) of a widespread viral infection transmitted via bites or contact with bodily fluids that causes human corpses to reanimate and seek to consume living human flesh, blood, brain or nerve tissue and is likely to result in the fall of organized civilization.

  So, in other words, their TOS apply unless there is a Zombie Apocalypse.
  Look I understand the popularity with the Zombie Apocalypse genre, but we are seeing  pieces, old and more recent, such as “How to Prepare Your Organization for the Zombie Apocalypse (2019),” and “fictional” medical papers written by a Harvard psychiatrist, referenced on the CDC website.
