Biden’s Pro-Transgender Executive Order ‘Spells the End’ of Girls’ Sports

  Writer and Author Abigail Shrier says President Biden’s executive order on gender identity “spells the end” of girls’ sports. The directive, which was signed on Mr Biden’s first day in the Oval Office, purports to prevent and combat discrimination on the basis of gender identity and sexual orientation. However, Ms Shrier said the purpose of the order was to warn states and schools that if they didn’t “consent to the destruction” of school sports, of girls’ sports specifically, by allowing in biological boys, they would lose their funding. “In the state of Montana they are right now trying to pass a law that would reserve girls sports for biological girls and the American Civil Liberties Union has already said based on the Biden executive order, if you go ahead and pass this law you will lose almost $500 million in federal funding”. Cutting funding by such a significant amount isn’t feasible for most states. Ms Shrier said, “the organisational effects of puberty confer on biological males a massive and unbridgeable advantage”. “They have vastly greater muscle, mass, bone density, larger hearts, larger lungs, more oxygenated blood, more fast twitch muscle fibre, all things necessary in contests of strength and speed”.
