Willem Middelkoop: Next Jump After Gold’s Correction Could be “Spectacular”

  This interview was filmed on December 15, 2020. It’s been a good year for Willem Middelkoop’s Commodity Discovery Fund. After taking a hit in March due to COVID-19, it’s since rebounded and looks set to end the year on a high note. As its name suggests, the Commodity Discovery Fund is focused on exploration-stage companies with the potential to make a discovery in the near term. Middelkoop, the founder of the fund, also spoke about where the gold price may go next year. He believes the correction that started in August seems to be over, or close to ending; in his opinion, the yellow metal should reach US$2,000 again in the next 12 months.
