US Offers $15M Reward for Disrupting IRGC Operations

  The United States has offered a reward of up to 15 million dollars to those who could help Washington disrupt the activities of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps. The US special representative for Iran once again accused the IRGC of operating like a terrorist organization. Hook claimed the military organization is running what he called an illicit oil shipping network and funding groups like Lebanon’s Hezbollah and the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas in Gaza. On Wednesday, the U-S State Department confirmed it had offered several million dollars to the captain of an Iranian tanker which Washington was seeking to confiscate. Iran’s Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif said the U-S has turned to blackmail after piracy with regard to Iran’s oil sales.
