Trump Threatens Iran with ‘OBLITERATION’ by ‘Overwhelming Force’ If It Attacks ‘Anything American’

• Trump: “USA can waged economic war, cyber war, military war … against you. If you resist/retaliate you will be annihilated!” Looks like the alpha male has met his match in Iran. Iran is not backing down. Trump is falling into a trap of his own making. He will not be able to rein in the war once the conflict starts. In war: you always choose when, where and under what circumstances to fight. I believe the Iranians have decided.

• Here is a simple question: What business is it of America if Iran blockade the entire Persian Gulf and prevent oil from going through? America is now the largest exporter of oil. America does not need any oil from the Middle East. What national interests is there in the Persian Gulf that America needs to protect to go to war with Iran? It is about the global currency hegemony and the Middle East hegemony.

  Arguing that Iran understands only “strength and power,” US President Donald Trump threatened to show them just that, tweeting that any Iranian attack on America would be met with “overwhelming force” and “obliteration.”

  As relations between Iran and the US strain to the brink of open conflict, Trump warned Washington’s long-term Middle Eastern rival in a Tuesday tweet that “any attack by Iran on anything American will be met with great and overwhelming force.”

  Trump also rather boldly set himself apart from the Democratic politicians he believes to have been soft on the Islamic Republic: “No more John Kerry & Obama!”

  The president’s brash tweets came in response to Iran’s statement earlier in the day, which declared that diplomatic channels between the two countries were now permanently closed due to Trump placing sanctions on Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei. However, it might have been the way the declaration was announced that ruffled Trump, as President Hassan Rouhani also called his administration “mentally retarded.”
