Angela Davis Stripped of Award, Says It’s Due to Her Support for Palestinians

American civil rights activist Angela Davis has been left stunned after a human rights award she was set to receive was revoked. In a statement the veteran campaigner said the organization behind the honor had changed its mind due to her open support for Palestinians.
