  NEWS DESK | Israel’s security forces in the West Bank are facing heavy resistance during their search for the perpetrators of the Ofra shooting incident. Meanwhile, on the northern front, Israel’s forces face tensions during the Northern Shield operation to dismantle Hezbollah’s military tunnels. Are its forces facing an impending crisis? Our Jonathan Regev has the story. Story: Israel’s Defense Forces (IDF) on on Dec. 11 identified another cross border tunnel build by Hezbollah into Israeli territory while UNIFIL, the UN body which monitors the border region, confirmed the existence of a second tunnel identified by the IDF last week. ‘Explosive devices have been placed inside the tunnel by the IDF’ it said in a statement.Tuesday’s exposure makes it the third tunnel to be announced since ‘Operation Northern Shield’ was launched last week, an operation which aims to locate and disable a network of cross border tunnels dug by Hezbollah.
