Lebanon accuses Israel of seeking a pretext to attack the Arab country. Lebanon’s Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil rejected as false, Israel’s claim that there are missile sites belonging to Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah in Lebanon. Bassil urged foreign ambassadors to respond to such accusations by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He also took the foreign envoys on a tour of at least one of the locations in Beirut. In his address to the UN General Assembly on Thursday, Netanyahu accused Hezbollah of having secret missile sites in Beirut. He pledged to take action against Lebanon.
