France Says No Iran Package Before November as Zarif Rejects ‘Obscure Promises’ (Covenant of 1 Week: 24 Nov 2018 to 18 Oct 2025??)
- Update 17 July 2018 — The correct date should be 24 Nov 2018 – 18 Oct 2025 NOT 22 Nov 2018. I missed out the 2 leap years of 2020 and 2024, where we have 29 Feb 2020 and 29 Feb 2024 (2) additional days.
– - The current JCPOA agreement terminates on 18 Oct 2025. If an agreement is signed with validity starting on 22 Nov 2018 (this should be 24 Nov 2018) and based on the JCPOA termination date 18 Oct 2025, it will be exactly 2520 days ie 7 x 360days , 7 Biblical years. Will this modified agreement be the Covenant of 1 Week (7 Biblical years) of Daniel’s prophecy? I do not know for certain. But my 10 pairs of eyes are on it.
- France Says No Iran Package Before November as Zarif Rejects ‘Obscure Promises’

France says Europe is unlikely to put together an economic package for Iran before November as Tehran urges “verifiable and actionable commitments rather than lofty and obscure promises.”
–
Foreign ministers of Iran and the five remaining parties to the 2015 nuclear deal were meeting in Vienna on Friday to discuss ways of maintaining the international accord after the US withdrawal in May.
–
“In Vienna for JCPOA Ministerial Meeting. My mandate is crystal clear: Forge practical solutions. Expecting EU/E3+2 counterparts to make verifiable & actionable commitments rather than lofty & obscure promises,” Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif tweeted.
–
Tehran has conditioned its stay in the deal to practical European strides to make sure Iran’s dividends from the deal would not be affected when US sanctions “snap back” in August.
–
“Make no mistake: Sanctions & JCPOA compliance are mutually exclusive,” Zarif warned, using the official name for the nuclear agreement which stands for the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
–
French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, however, told Iran not to expect much before November as he headed to Vienna for the ministerial meeting on the agreement. “They must stop permanently threatening to break their commitments to the nuclear deal,” Le Drian told RTL radio. “They must stop the threats so that we can find the solutions so that Iran can have the necessary economic compensations,” he said.
–
Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani told German Chancellor Angela Merkel over phone Thursday that Tehran would continue cooperation with Europe if the remaining parties to the JCPOA meet Tehran’s expectations.

– - France Says Economic Package for Iran Deal Unlikely Before November
by Reuters, via https://www.nytimes.com/, 6 July 2018
VIENNA — France said on Friday it was unlikely European powers would be able to put together an economic package for Iran that would salvage its nuclear deal before November and warned Tehran to stop threatening to break its commitments to the accord.
–
“They must stop permanently threatening to break their commitments to the nuclear deal,” French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian told RTL radio before traveling to Vienna for a ministerial meeting on the agreement. “They must stop the threats so that we can find the solutions so that Iran can have the necessary economic compensations.”

He said the European powers but also Russia and China were working on coming up with a financial mechanism to mitigate planned tough U.S. sanctions.

- Is this coming new Iranian Nuclear Deal: Peace Treaty, Daniel’s ‘Covenant of 1 Week’? Why do I have my 10 pairs of eyeballs on this JCPOA, Iran nuclear deal? The EU driven by Macron is discussing a revised Iran nuclear deal but without USA participation. The current deal expires in 2025 ie. about 7 years (according to Trump see below). Will the revised deal, which is based on the existing deal, still keep the 2025 expiry? If so, it definitely can coincide with the Biblical Book of Daniel’s prophecy of ‘Covenant of 1 week’ ie. 7 Biblical years. A biblical year is 360 days not 365 days. (Note: JCPOA ‘Termination Day’ is in 18 Oct 2025)
- The revised deal is quite obviously a PEACE Treaty.

Iran Sanctions – JCPOA in the Balance
What are the “Terrible Flaws” That President Trump Sees?
President Trumps opposes a number of aspects of the JCPOA. One is that the obligations it imposes on Iran relate only to its nuclear programme, but not on its “other malign activities”2 (IRGC funding, cyber aggression, maritime aggression, human rights violations, destabilising activity in the Middle East); a second is that the JCPOA does not consider long-range missile development as part of a nuclear weapons programme; a third is that the JCPOA has an expiry date (on Termination Day, in 2025).
