US to Withdraw from JCPOA If Deal Not Fixed
- PressTV Published on Apr 29, 2018
U-S Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has repeated Washington’s anti-Iran accusations, blaming Tehran for destabilizing the Middle East. Pompeo made the remarks during a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Addressing the 20-15 nuclear deal signed between Tehran and the P-five-plus-one group of countries, Pompeo described the accord as flawed. He said the U-S administration is trying to fix the agreement and will withdraw from the deal if it fails to do so. Pompeo, who is on his first diplomatic tour as US secretary of state, was in Saudi Arabia earlier on Sunday. He met with a number of Saudi officials including King Salman and the Saudi Crown Prince in the capital Riyadh. He is expected to arrive in Jordan to discuss a number of issues with Jordanian officials.
