Thousands Rally in Gaza Against Israel’s New Death Penalty for Palestinians

    People have taken to the streets of the besieged Gaza Strip to express their resentment against an Israeli death penalty bill against Palestinian prisoners. Protesters marched through the Gaza Strip chanting anti-Israeli slogans. They also burned images of the Israeli prime minister and the U-S president. The bill has so far received a firestorm of rebukes from a various number of rights groups and Palestinians. The leader of Palestine’s Islamic Jihad resistance movement has slammed the new law as inhumane.
