Israeli forces have violently clashed with Palestinians in the occupied West Bank. They were out in the streets to denounce the US recognition of Jerusalem al-Quds as Israel’s capital. Israeli troops fired tear gas at the protesters in Bethlehem and Ramallah. The regime forces also clashed Palestinians in the east of the city of Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip injuring three of them. That’s in the wake of US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem al-Quds as the Israeli capital. Anger is running high among Palestinians in the occupied territories and the besieged Gaza Strip over Trump’s recent move. Earlier, dozens of people were detained elsewhere in the occupied territories amid a general strike called by Palestinian factions.
