Palestinian FM: We Won’t Give in to “Extortion” by America in Support of War Criminal Israel
- PressTV News Videos Published on Nov 18, 2017
Palestinians have rejected U-S threat of closing their diplomatic mission in Washington, saying they will not give in to any extortion or pressure. Foreign Minister Riad al-Maliki said the Palestinians are waiting for further communication from the U-S government. Earlier in the day, the U-S threatened to shutter Palestinians’ office in Washington if they push ahead with their bid to take Israeli crimes to the International Criminal Court. An official in President Donald Trump’s administration said the office for the Palestinian Authority can remain open if the Palestinians engage in serious talks with the Israelis. During his address to the U-N General Assembly meeting in September, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas called on the I-C-C to prosecute Israeli officials. He slammed Tel Aviv for its ongoing settlement constructions and aggressions against the Palestinian people.
